The Summer Food Service Program is a federally-funded, state-administered program that helps children in low-income areas get the nutrition they need to learn, play, and grow throughout the summer months when they are out of school. Funded by the USDA and administered at the state level by the Arizona Department of Education, SFSP provides free, nutritious meals to children 18 and younger at approved SFSP sites.
