The Whole Milk for Healthy Kids Act was officially signed into law January 14, 2026. This legislation allows schools to offer whole and reduced-fat (2%) milk – both flavored and unflavored – in the National School Lunch Program.
While impact is minimal, Nutrition One is fully up to date with this new legislation and continues to ensures all menu offerings and operations remain compliant. If your school has any questions about how this change may impact your program please reach out.
